Direct measurements of ground electrical resistivity using electrode arrays powered by direct current (DC) is generally referred to as “resistivity geophysical surveying”. It can be carried out in a number of ways. Our company specializes in usage of Supersting R1/IP meter to extract apparent electrical resistivity from depths up to 100 meters. This type of surveying is effective in groundwater studies, environmental assessments, archaeological surveys, karsts detection and verification of shallow mining targets.
